These are the partial contents of one of my DEC-Tapes MDEC1.S01

I copied them with

.COPY H:<D?????.BN

from the tape to one of my Hard-Disks, then I transfered them
with Johnny Billquists KERMIT-8 to a PC-System.

(The .BN-Files with 'SET MODE BIN', the directory listing
and the other Files in ASCII-Mode.)

From the MSDOS-System, I transfered the files, all in
binary mode to this ftp-site. This is the explanation of the
^Ms at the end of the lines.

To prove if that worked, I transfered one of the binaries and
one of the textfiles back to my PC, both tranfers in binary
mode.
After this, the Textfile had his original Format with <CR><LF>
at the lineend, and the .BN-file was lodable with my PDP-8-
Emulator.

So I think, it should work, to download these files in bin-mode, 
and to transfer them back with KERMIT to a real PPD-8-system.

The only flaw is, that by my transfer via a MSDOS-system the
dates are smashed.
