There is a bug that can occurr with PKARC 3.5 when using some
versions of MS-DOS 2.xx. This bug is only present with DOS version
2. All versions of DOS 3.xx work normally.

Under DOS 2, if the current directory is the root directory of a
drive, and a large file is archived, PKARC will abort with the
error "Can't create ./$PKARC.CRN".

This problem can be simply eliminated by using the PKARCTMP
environment string to explicitly tell PKARC what drive/and or
subdirectory to use for temporary files. To use the current drive,
enter:

SET PKARCTMP=/

at the DOS command line. See the file PKARC.DOC for more
information on the PKARCTMP environment variable.
