If, for any reason, you are unable to install the Single
User MailStation through the supplied Windows-based SETUP
program, you can manually install the software with the
following steps:

- quit Windows completely (do not just open a MS-DOS window)

- locate your Windows system directory. This is
  usually C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM

- Create a MailStation data directory.
  ( Example: MD C:\MSTATION )

- set the Windows system directory as your current directory.
  ( Example: CD C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM )

- EXPAND all files with the file type .DL_ into the Windows
  system directory.
  ( Example: A:\EXPAND A:\VBRUN300.DL_ C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM )

- PKUNZIP the files contained in MSTSYSTM.ZIP into the Windows
  system directory.
  ( Example: A:\PKUNZIP -E A:\MSTSYSTM.ZIP )

- set the newly created MailStation directory as your current
  directory.
  ( Example: CD C:\MSTATION )

- PKUNZIP the files contained in MSTINFOS.ZIP into the
  MailStation directory.
  ( Example: A:\PKUNZIP -E A:\MSTINFOS.ZIP )

- PKUNZIP the files contained in MSTFILES.ZIP into the
  MailStation directory.
  ( Example: A:\PKUNZIP -E A:\MSTFILES.ZIP )

- Start Windows

- Add the programs MSTATION.EXE and GOGEONET.EXE (both found in the
MailStation directory) to either an existing Program Group or to
a newly created Program Group called MailStation

- Add the program MAILER.EXE (found in the MailStation directory)
to your Startup Program Group if you want the Mailer to be
started each time you start Windows, or to the Program Group
to which you already added MSTATION.EXE and GOGEONET.EXE
