DGPWACU.EXP is a protected-mode driver for AutoCAD release 12 and 13 for DOS.
It provides support for the WACOM UD-series graphic tablets. DGPWACU sets
the com port to 9600 Baud, no parity, 8 data bits and 1 stopbit. The tablet
should be configured for WACOM IV default settings.

                      ADI DRIVER INSTALLATION FOR DOS
                    ***********************************

To set up the tablet for AutoCAD under DOS, you need to install the ADI 4.2
protected mode-driver, configure AutoCAD for an ADI driver, and then
configure the tablet.

1) Copy the DGPWACU.EXP file from the WACOM software diskette's ADI
subdirectory to C:\ACADR13\DOS\DRV. This is the AutoCAD default location
    of protected-mode ADI drivers.

2) Set the environment variable with the command SET ACADDRV=C:\ACAD\DOS\DRV.
You can include this set command in your AUTOEXEC.BAT or ACADR13.BAT
files, or enter it manually before each start of AutoCAD. Refer to your
AutoCAD manuals for placing the driver in non-default directories.

                    ***********************************
                       CONFIGURING FOR AUTOCAD IN DOS
                    ***********************************

1) Start AutoCAD and select Config: from the Options menu, or type CONFIG.

2) Press Return, then select the Configure Digitizer option. Type Y to
    choose a new digitizer.

3) From the displayed list, select 'ADI 4.2 driver for WACOM ArtZ-Series.'
Follow the screen prompts to configure the driver.

IMPORTANT: AutoCAD documentation suggests using COM1 or COM2 with a digitizer.
If you have more than two serial ports, and the addresses of COM3
and/or COM4 are found in BIOS, then AutoCAD will also give you
the option to use one of these ports. There will be no problem
with the polled mode, but interrupt mode may not work.

Save your configuration settings upon exiting to the Drawing Editor.

NOTE: The entire tablet is now configured as a screen pointing area. If you
want to configure the tablet to use a menu template and a smaller
screen pointing area refer to the "AutoCAD Release 13 Installation
Guide for DOS" manual. If you are using the ArtPad II, we suggest
leaving the entire tablet area configured as your drawing area.
