    === How to Play =========================

  You control the mighty spear-wielding dwarf in this Biege adventure. You control
him with the following keys.

Controls for Dwarven Warrior:

 Key:                       Action:
 [Left Arrow] walks one step left
 [Right Arrow] walks one step right
 [Up Arrow] walks one step up
 [Down Arrow] walks one step down
 [Ctrl] stab your spear forward to kill enemies
 [Spacebar] talk to whomever you face
 [M] bring up the map / exit map mode

In 2-player mode a second player may control a staff wielding lizard ranger using
the W,S,A,D keys.

Controls for Lizard Ranger:

 Key:                       Action:
 [D]                     walks one step right
 [A]                     walks one step left
 [W]                     walks one step up
 [S]                     walks one step down
 [Shift/Left Shift] staff strike forward to kill enemies

The object of the game is to explore the world of Biege and collect all of the blue
crystals that the Dwarven king demands. The crystals are hidden throughout the land;
you can talk to townsfolk for hints on where they may be. Press M to see the map and
get your bearings within the world. There are many enemies waiting for you and if
they attack you, they take one health away. Your health is represented by red crosses
onscreen. If you lose all of your crosses the game is over and you must restart; never
fear the game remembers the crystals you have collected. You must kill enemies with
your spear to survive and earn points. If you talk to a healer goddess you restore all
of your health. When you achieve a score of 250, 500, 1000, or 2000 your maximum
health increases, so make sure to kill many enemies to enhance your player.
Click the reset button to reset the game.
Click the 2 Player box to enter multiplayer mode.
Click the x button on the window to quit.

    =========================================

IV. === Multiplayer ========================

  This game includes a multiplayer mode. Check the 2 Player box in order to start this
2-player mode. The game will restart in multiplayer mode. In this mode a second player
can join the quest. The second player is controlled on the same keyboard with the
W, S, A, D keys to walk and the Left Shift key to attack.

  The second player is a Lizard ranger who follows the dwarven warrior around.
He scores no points. If he kills an enemy the points are rewarded to
the dwarf. The blue crosses at the top of the screen represent the second
player's health. He has at most 3 crosses. If an enemy attacks him he loses one of his
crosse; when he loses all 3 he dies. That's okay you can revive the second player at
any healer goddess throughout the land. When you talk to a healer goddess the dwarf's
health is restored and the 2nd player is revived and his 3 crosses health is restored.
In this mode it is important to protect the first player dwarf. If the dwarf dies the
game is over.

Careful! In multiplayer mode the 1st and 2nd players can attack and hurt (kill)
each other... or perhaps you WANT to attack each other MWAHAHAHA!
