     its component files by
(a.) opening an OS/2 window and
(b.) typing PCIYMF at the OS/2 command prompt.
Once the PCIYMF.EXE file is expanded, please continue with the
     Installation Instructions.

        i. Change the source drive to the subdirectory containing the files
             expanded by YMF724
ii. Select the YMF724 PCI Audio Adapter

\MMOS2\INSTALL subdirectory of the boot drive.

2.3 Since you just add new audio adapter, you may need to enable the hardware
detection by using either one of the following methods:
        i. Use the right mouse button while the mouse is positioned on
the Hardware Manager icon. Select Properties from the pull-down,
go to Detection Level and select 'Detect Added Hardware'
ii. Or reboot system and activate the RECOVERY menu during OS/2 start
up by briefly holding down and releasing Alt-F1. Then select F5
             to enable full hardware detection.
