      DFSee version 16.2 2019-07-25 (c) 1994-2019: Jan van Wijk
 =========================[ www.dfsee.com ]==========================

DFSee is the SWISS-ARMY-KNIFE for disk and filesystem problems.
It has FDISK-like displays, cloning, imaging, analysis and recovery
tools with powerful FIX commands and FILE-RECOVERY/COPY for most
of the supported filesystems

Details can be found at: https://www.dfsee.com/dfsee

DFSee supports partition tables (FDISK, OS/2-LVM), (V)FAT, FAT-32,
EXFAT, HPFS, JFS, EXT2/3/4, NTFS, HFS+, APFS and recognition of the
Linux REISER and XFS filesystems

DFSee, starting with version 4.00 is SHAREWARE, requiring registration
and payment for actual use and support.

For most purposes DFsee is a complete FDISK and OS/2-LVM replacement and
a partial replacement for tools like Norton GHOST and other imaging tools.

Unlike most disk tools however, DFSee allows access to files and filesystems
that are NOT natively supported on the operating system it runs on, it has
a filemaneger-like interface called BROWSE that lets you navigate the
filesystems directory structure, and view or copy the contents of files,
and even recover a whole directory tree recursively.

DFSee also includes several 'fix' commands solving common problems and an
advanced (HEX) sector editing function to make other kinds of manual changes.
Some of them straightforward and easy to use, others requireing more knowledge
and should not be used if you don't know exactly what you are doing.

Finally due to extensive on-disk file structure displays and related functions
it is also a useful tool for forensic analysis of disks and filesystems.

The professional license is for 1 technician for commercial use on an unlimited
number of systems. Standard licenses are for personal use on your own systems.
