The ZIP Parallel Interface: IMM Negotiate / Acknowledge

For an IMM chip ONLY. If the mode of data transfer is INPUT nibble or byte, the interface requires 'turning around'. This is achieved by issuing the IEEE negotiate sequence.

Auto dropping low causes the zip to raise PAPER OUT (connected).

The INPUT mode of transfer required is set to

0 (nibble)
1 (byte)

There are of course many other modes available for IEEE1284, but these two are all that concern the zip driver.

At the end of an input transfer, the interface is released.
