X11 R3 Compose Sequence Support

This directory contains an xmodmap that supports general user-configurable
Compose sequences.  Users of compose support must use this xmodmap, along
with modifications to Xlib.

To build xmodmap, type make.  To test xmodmap, set a valid DISPLAY
environment variable, and run the script test_sh:

test_sh <display_type> > <display_type>/test_sh.out_new 2>&1

where <display_type> = machine-type_kbd-type_kbd-layout_kbd-mode, 
	e.g. XP_VT_X-ESC_ND

Diff <display_type>/test_sh.out_new and <display_type>/test_sh.out to see
if the overall run worked.

To view errors in individual tests, use the script diff_test <type>.  Note
that the results are keyboard-dependent.  A set of test results for
"XP_VT_X-ESC_ND" is provided; note that it is for the UK VT200 x-esc
dp-mode keyboard layout, on any XP-series terminal.
