Please read through and make your choice before starting to use JIP.

IMPORTANT: 
Please do stop any running JIP program before running the utility files. This is because you
could get double update and risk abuse from DNS service providers.DNS service provider could consider 
frequent updates as an abuse.

  1.                       GUI Version

Usual graphical interface. This can be run as stand alone
or as a helper file for configuration puposes. See 1.1 an 1.2

 1.1             Running as Stand alone
        ==========================================
If you decide to run as stand alone, then you do not need the utility files.
The advantage here is that; you have all the functions in JIP and can do the
necessary configuration, do force update, auto update.
The disadvantage is that you may use memory than  running the utility files, unless 
you choose to minimize on startup (in the main frame).

         ==========================================
 1.2             Running as a  helper file
         ==========================================

Run JIP as normmal graphical then use it to do necessary configurations 
and then close it.

Download any of the utility files from www.bashiro.com/soft either 
a)JIP_CMD (for dyndns.org) or  b)JIPAL_CMD (for other dns providers).
b)Place the utility file in the same folder as JIP. ie into the JIP directory.
Then run the utility file (using the batch file included).


IMPORTANT: 
Do stop any running JIP program when running the utility files. This is because you

                           STARTING JIP

WINDOWS & MAC OS: 
You can just double click on either JIP.exe or JIP.jar to start the gui.
It may be JIPAL.jar or JIPAW.exe for other dns service providers.
When using the utility files see the documentations or use the bat files.

JIP TO RUN ON STARTUP:
WINDOWS:you can create a shortcut for the exuctable file .
OS 2, ecS; create a shadow pointing to the executable files.
LINUX: put it in startup (some Linux distros ) or create a startup script.
