Dear user, thank you for choosing DrawIt for OS/2 Warp.
This file contains IMPORTANT information which you need to know before you
install the product.

The installation.

-Before you install, be sure that you install DrawIt in a clean directory.
It is ** NOT ** possible to install over an existing installation.

-During the installation the installer will create a folder on your desktop.
In this container are three icons. One for drawit, one for the font palette
and one for the color palette.
On some systems the installation program showes a messagebox with the message:

EPFIQ125:You have cancelled.....do you want to delete all transfered files?
Answer this question with NO.

The point is that the installation program tried at this point to register
the color or the font palette. Answering the question with NO, gives you at
least an installed DrawIt version without the customized system palettes.
When DrawIt cannot access the customized palettes it will use the
system palette.

-When installing on a system with a demo version of drawit, the
installation program asks if you want to replace drwfont.dll or drwpal.dll
in the OS/2 directory. You can answer this question with NO.

Changes in DrawIt.
All changes in DrawIt are described in the online help. See chapter ABOUT.

Problems:
On OS/2 Warp 4.0 a dialog box sometimes disappears behind the application. This
gives the impression that the application hangs. Press the <ESC> key and retry
the action. This problem is solved after installing service pack 7 or higher.
