A collection of customized Dutch stock quote data programs. Some programs
will no longer have an use soon, some programs require specific data, and
some programs will always have an use. Programs can require customization
so there is no translated version. Translating the output is not hard and
the data is both Dutch and French (Belgium, France, Netherlands) anyway.

Quick start: if GDIAGRAMM.EXE is installed, and eComStation or a new OS/2
version is in use, then start eCS.CMD. If GDIAGRAMM.EXE is not installed,
or your version of OS/2 is too old, then use OS2.CMD without graphs.

The use of gDiagramm v0.0.7 is assumed when eCS.CMD is use. My top-3 list
of relevant wishes: accept horizontal lines (unchanged stock quotes), the
support of codepages to display names with accents, and support to create
more than one graph per call with some repsonse file.

In addition to possibly existing copyrights the file format and using the
file format are copyrighted too. The whole systeem is underengineered, so
it is important to protect what is working and how it is working. The use
of e.g. MySQL was discussed earlier but there are too many small changes,
improvements and events. Besides that, I'm not a programmer. Nevertheless
I'm willing to take a look at all RFCs, requests for new functionality or
fixes. The same attitude applies to customized versions of this software.
An example would be a request to be able use a different symbol/ticker to
define what a trading is. Now you may have to replace "DJIA" by "AEX". It
was easy to use an argument instead of a hard-coded symbol, but I decided
to not use an argument just yet, because an user will always use the same
symbol to define what a trading day is. It isn't overengineered. Requests
can be aimed at m1@uni-one.nl. On the other hand I may want international
data, or customized and translated versions. For example, I do not have a
backup facility when I cannot download my daily data. Do not tell me what
you have and want, but first try to find out what I have to do, and how I
have to something to help you. Try to convert your data to my format, and
try to give me an example, including a difficult case. Adding support for
one new German character is quite easy, but if you want a Japanse version
they you'll have to help me too. And no "technical analysis", please. The
software isn't supported, because it may be outdated after one day and it
may require customizations. There is also no software to maintain data or
to download data.

An OS/2-specific limitation is the name of the symbol/ticker. This has to
be a valid OS/2 filename, like "4U.2" or "ABC".
