The ZIP Parallel Interface: Reset Sequence
At the completion of any connection to the zip drive parallel interface, the interface (and zip) are released back to the OS for other drivers to make use of it (the interface).
the sequence is
disconnect
connect
reset
disconnect
Connect / Disconnect are in the mode timing diagrams
